Both my parents got a knack for photography; my father used to document family events and the like. When I was 13, I picked up the "old" (Konica Minolta dImage Z1) digital camera from him, and the world of digital photos opened in front of my eyes. But the passion for nature photography I inherited from my mom alongside fascinated me, including its many facets, the technical aspects and artistic expression. Over the years, I learned a thing or two, especially the training in bioimaging taught me about the physics of light and processing of digital images. This only deepened my understanding and passion for photography even more. The background in life sciences and the affinity to flower portraits and macros I picked up from my mum are the reason I am mostly into genres like macros, landscapes or wildlife in nature. But occasionally, I also shoot some urban scenes in the streets and I also enjoy looking at other peoples art, no matter the genre!
