Welcome.

This gallery is in part a replacement for my costly Smugmug one to display my attempts over the years at recording the railways in my native area of South Cumbria and beyond.

My latest efforts can viewed on my other Flickr Gallery as & when film is processed and time to scan permits as I'm still a film diehard.

Meanwhile here is for my older material which will be added time permitting.

Since I started seriously in 1998 my pictures have been taken with Canon EOS equipment.

Unfortunately I made the usual mistake of the film era in starting out shooting colour negative film (from various manufacturers) until discovering the advantages of transparencies.

I would like to thank all those who have assisted me over the years, Hope you enjoy.
