Enjoying photography since I was 8 when Mom handed me the Kodak 135 camera during a vacation in Paris because my little fingers did not end up in the photos. Love browsing all the beautiful photographs of the world here on Flickr.

Currently working on a two projects: one with a friend to photograph roadside historic markers around our state before they disappear; the other to scan a few of the gazillion 35mm prints worthy of flickr since I have some downtime. Hard to remember when and where some were taken but a pleasure to get them out again and share them here, and to free them life from a box.

Landscapes, water, weather, nature, architecture, basically anything that doesn’t move too much are my regular subjects. Always ready to use the camera on anything interesting and lots of baked goods were photographed during lockdown.

Owned and loved many cameras over the years including several Polaroids as a kid. Acquired my first Canon automatic 35mm when I was 18, however, the Pentax K-1000 was one of my favorites. Occasionally use the Canon EOS 5D or a small Canon Powershot, but using an iphone pro max now due to weight restrictions. Most images prior to 2005 are scanned from film prints.

Residing in my home state of Maryland for most of my life except for 6 years spent in Hertfordshire, England as a child and several years living in the District of Columbia.
