Mehraj Mir, a novice photographer. Well this has turned into a hobby now. I was not taking it seriously before. but now after clicking so many photos (some were good), I thought to experiment with it.

A true nature lover and an admirer of beauty. Whenever I could find an opportunity, I preferred spending time in nature's solitude and captured all its beauties in frames as I saw it. I framed whatever I saw and felt best through my camera. It has been a wonderful journey so far. I learnt this again and again - a dictionary of photographic techniques may prove useless unless the eye behind the lens is in love with the subject. I learn from my mistakes and I believe every day is a learning for me.

I would be very grateful to you if you suggest me some ideas, concepts or anything related to photography. Comments are well entertained..

 

Standing tall at 6 ‘0, it is not difficult to notice Mehraj Mir roaming around with a camera trying to capture nature’s bounty through his lens. An instinctive photographer, his magical touch is evident in the numerous photos he has taken ranging from stills to faces, and abstract to reality. He is known to capture images from day to day life and render them immortal. His play of colours and shapes in the photos he clicks talk deeply about his passion and love for photography. He hails from a beautiful valley called Kashmir "Paradise on Earth"

 

His eye for detail is completely self taught and it is his love for the unknown and the need to capture it through the visual medium that made him follow his dreams to become a freelance travel photographer. There are limitations to the use of language, but for Mehraj it is through the photographs that he speaks. Take a look, and be spellbound.

 

I am 24 years old. I was born in Srinagar Kashmir, INDIA, Photography is my Passion.

 

I am interested in covering issues, which have gone unreported or have got less coverage in the media. I want to travel a lot and write about what I see.
