Once studied photography in Antwerp.

While spending hours in darkrooms developing and making analog prints, mostly black and white the world was rapidly turning towards digital photography.

And so did I

Recently I have regained an interest in film photography and I love it!

When capturing a digital image we tend to look at the display to see the result. This removes us from the moment.

I feel like I see a subject and bring my film camera in between me and it. Then after exposing the camera is removed again and I am left with the subject.

This gives a sense of mindfulness digital photography doesn't offer, however far ahead the technology might be.

As a photographer I like to capture lines and light. Geometry and depth are very important to me.

Still I like to include a human subject where possible as this provides a sense of scale otherwise unachievable!
