Hi, I’m Vern — a photographer based in Manchester, UK.

What started as a personal outlet — documenting the streets, buildings, and skies of my home city — has steadily grown into something more. My photography has not only deepened my connection with Manchester but also opened doors to commercial work. That journey has led me to launch VRN Visuals, where I now create content professionally for brands, businesses, and organisations.

My personal work is still grounded in storytelling, mood, and memory. I’m drawn to architecture, overlooked spaces, shifting light, and the quiet character of everyday places. Manchester is at the heart of much of what I shoot — especially the buildings that carry history and presence, like the now-lost Hotspur Press.

I don’t aim for perfection — just honesty, atmosphere, and a frame that feels real.
