Through Professor Ramachandran’s (Sud) photographic anthology we are taken on an international rollercoaster ride of composition, contrasts and colour. Grayscale images are cleverly interwoven where they are used to emphasise the mood of time and place in selected scenes.

He has assembled a montage of albums cataloguing his journeys around the world, including the most vibrant places and cultures in Europe, Asia, North America and naturally sites within Britain. There is a considered, personal focus on the interplay between people and place, capturing locals in elegant, positions in their natural environments: the architecture, environment, fauna and flora are not forgotten.

It is definitely worth investing some time on a pleasurable, stimulating and informative tour of Sud’s travels over two decades.
