Having retired in 2023 I've finally returned to taking an active interest in my photography and related digital image creativity.

I've owned a number of cameras over the years but have now settled on 2 Lumix bridge cameras - my faithful FZ48, which I've owned for over 15 years, and a recently purchased FZ1000, which I traded in for DSLR + lenses which were too heavy to carry about at my age! I also use my Samsung phone for capturing images and am amazed at the quality of image it produces.

I'm interested in all types of image making, from traditional photography (landscape, flowers, still life, candid etc.) to abstract creatons and manipulation using software (GIMP & G'MIC current favourites).

It's all about enjoying the process, liking the results, and relaxing.
