Hello everyone. My name is Israel Shouraki. I live in Israel by the sea. I am already in my sixties. I discovered my passion for photography about five years ago, and since then I have been enjoying it immensely. My main subjects are flowers and landscapes. For now, I keep event photography within the family only, but I have no problem expanding into other areas, such as street photography, ICM photography, and more.

 

I use two cameras: my main camera is a Nikon Z5, for which I have a wide selection of lenses that I will detail below. My secondary camera is a Sony RX100 compact, which is always in my bag. For convenience, I edit my photos only on an iPad, using Lightroom, Affinity Photo, and iColorama. Some of my photos I turn into actual paintings with apps like iColorama, Procreate, iArtbook, and others.

 

I share my work on Instagram, Facebook, and recently also on Flickr. I have grown fond of Flickr lately because of the transparency of information about each photo, which allows me to learn a lot. At the moment, photography is a hobby for me, but I am looking for ways to earn a bit of money from it—not as a livelihood, but to strengthen my connection to the hobby. I would be happy to collaborate with others on this platform for that purpose. I also have a store on Redbubble and would welcome additional ideas.
