Primarily a musician, I have always had a strong interest in visual art, and even was pulled between art school and music school in my junior year of high school. I have been fairly serious about photography at veraious times in my life, but an exhibition at the Sand Diego Museum of Art a couple of years ago really inspired me to get back to visual art. I started drawing again, and became more intentional about my photography. This led me to exploring the beautiful vegetation we have in Southern California, and creating images of these plants and flowers that are analogous to abstract paintings. In addition I find rocks and masonry that have the same potential.

I also take photos of my fellow musicians when not on the stage myself, and have been experimenting with digital manipulation of photographs and images created in Procreate and exported as .jpeg. Naturally, since I have these cameras, I am exploring other subjects when I have the opportunity. There are (or will soon be) six albums to organize the photos: animal, vegetable, mineral (yes, borrowed from 20 questions), musicians, scenes, and abstracts/experiments. Scenes is a bit of a catch-all for interiors, street scenes, landscapes, etc. This site exists for me to share my photos with others, and to get some perspective on my work.
