Located in the heart of the Adaklu District in Ghana’s beautiful Volta Region, Nunya Village is a vibrant hub where young artisans learn, create, and share their talents with the world. Here, tradition meets innovation. From bead making using recycled glass, to Kente weaving, basketry, wood crafts, pottery, and more—each piece tells a story of heritage, resilience, and possibility.

Nunya means “wisdom” in Ewe, and our mission is just that: to empower the next generation with the wisdom of their culture and the skills to build a brighter future. Through hands-on training in arts, crafts, and technology, we equip young people with valuable tools for self-reliance and entrepreneurship, while preserving the rich traditions of Ghanaian craftsmanship.

Every creation shared here is more than art—it is a step toward education, empowerment, and economic opportunity for the youth of Adaklu. All proceeds from our sales and programs go directly back into supporting these young artisans and sustaining this beautiful community.
