My name is Olesya. I'm 42 years old. I lived in Donetsk before the war, which was started by Russia in 2014. Then I lived in Kyiv, Ukraine. When in 2022 Russia started its invasion into Ukraine, I moved to Slovakia. Now I live in Slovakia and I am a refugee.

I work in an IT company now, but I also worked as a state servant (I have done a lot of reforms in Ukraine) and at the bank. Also, I volunteer for refugees and soldiers in the Ukrainian army.

I love travelling very much, Postcrossing for me is a way to travel all year long and study something new. Also, I am fond of pub quizzes - they are a way to learn new things. I have a son--16 years old, when I started postcrossing he was only 3 years old.
