I was on flickr 2006-2020; this reboot is to share old & new images that may interest some folks and to organize my photographs in a more historical manner.

- Instant and 35mm film, iPhone, digital SLR or toy cameras...I value mood & image over gear & digital craft. I don’t use AI, SL or heavily digitized filtering. I may slightly adjust contrast but will mention if I dramatically revise an image.

- Most images are observational. Photo interests include social/urban landscapes, banal details, self-portraits, cute animals, nudes (artistic or naturist/nudist images) and historical documentation.

- I do rearrange upload dates on some photos so they can be grouped with similar images or albums.

I don’t believe in “contact quid pro quo”. If I follow you, you do NOT need to follow back or comment on a photo of mine...and vice-versa. All of us have different reactions and reasons for liking or commenting. I miss the old flickr days when people would do more commenting on an image vs "fav and run"; taking an interest in the subject matter, or going off on a tangent.

I'm 64 years old; I like all varieties of photography so if I add someone as a follower of any level, it is purely from a photographic or human interest (how people live) perspective. I have NO interest in hooking up...pictures that focus on genitalia or couples documenting their romantic actions are fine for what they are, it's not something that will make me follow someone. I also block profiles/accounts with no images of their own.
