I enrolled in 1977 as an independent student in the Photography department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Under the guidance of Paul Ausloos and Jan Gruyaert, I graduated in 1981. In 1985 I started working as an independent designer, but photography remained my primary passion. I live and work in Antwerp, Belgium
