At some point recently, I gravitated away from color infrared and towards taking visible light macro shots -- particularly mushrooms. Something about their variety and inter-connectedness with all the plant life around them really resonated with me. What I'm currently not good at - since this is new for me - is identifying them. So if you think you know what common or scientific name applies to one of my shots, please let me know in the comments. I will quickly confirm and edit and give credit where it's due. I feel like the fungi world is one where collaboration is the best way forward.
