Welcome to my Flickr profile. I am a 42 year old SAHM from Birmingham, England . Mum to 2 gorgeous girlies, wife to an adorable hubbie and a master of one cute dog.

My creativity was born from a love of art from a very early age but 5 years doing life drawings at college may have given me qualifications but it didn't fire any passion or indeed keep me financially. It took me over 10 more years before I would find my creative spark again when I was asked to design and make invitations for a wedding. It has been non-stop since. I have since quit my lucrative 9-5 job to concentrate fully on my creative interests. I may be poorer but I am a darn site happier!

I have designed digital scrapbooking kits, brushes and papers for the online digital scrapbooking industry (and still do occasionally), own an established Scrap-for-hire business and have recently joined forces with my father (a photographer of 20 years) to offer his gorgeous landscapes and my abstract photographic prints on our Etsy site (listed below). I have also branched out into portrait photography specialising in children and families at home, which I absolutely adore doing.

I have discovered that all these elements I get involve with somehow gel together, one supporting the other.

My storybook albums (www.gingerlily.me) allow me to offer my clients beautiful photographs displayed in unique albums which combine traditional photo albums with scrapbooking elements and my Creative Canvases combine photography with digital art...It's so cool! I couldn't be happier and no two days are the same.
