Carmichael Yepez is a military photojournalist. He served two tours in Iraq where he documented more than 70 missions with the Seabees of NMCB 3 in Ramadi Iraq. In 2008 he was embedded with the Soldiers of the 1st Cavalry Division in Mosul, Iraq through 2009. During 911 he was aboard the air craft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln CVN-72 where he served as a broadcast manager. After completing a six month deployment in the Persian Gulf, the Lincoln was extended for three months in response to the attack on the USS Cole. He has worked in public affairs, print journalism, and broadcasting and most recently as a combat camera photographer with the elite team of documentation photographers of Combat Camera Group Pacific in San Diego, California. Yepez served his last tour in the military as a military videographer at the White House where he traveled around the country and around the world in support of Presidential missions.
