Elizabeth Wood first enrolled at Eastern Illinois University in 2018. She worked in student publications all four years. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2022 with a BA in Arts, majoring in Journalism and minors in Photojournalism and General English Studies.

After graduating from Eastern, Elizabeth has worked as a multi-media reporter at the Breeze-Courier in Taylorville, IL. for nearly two years. Since joining their staff, she has covered community concerns over the local superfund site, town meetings, and summer fairs, designed special sections, and written feature stories on community members. Additionally, she has helped manage their social media platforms.

Currently, she works for the Cedar Rapids Gazette.
