Born in 1955 London, raised in Africa, and have now lived in the beautiful country of New Zealand for the past 48 years. My love of photography started seriously 27 years ago with a Canon A1 film camera and a black and white darkroom set-up in my bathroom. I moved to digital in 2004 after purchasing a Canon 350D, I really enjoyed the transition, and the elimination of development costs :) I stayed with Canon until 2023, then bought a Nikon D300 which is now my favourite toy. I consider myself a random photographer and try my hand at most things across the board, I rarely have a plan when I go out and prefer to 'feel' the emotion of any situation that may pop up, If I get excited about it, I photograph it.
