I have been a musician practically my whole life, professionally for 18 years. I started amateur nature photography about six years ago with a Nikon kit from Costco - which I still have and use as I explore upgrades. Photography is definitely about artistic expression, but just as important to me is to capture proof of life. Almost all of the photography in this profile is dedicated to restoration and conservation efforts. It is truly a joy to see life - in my own yard, in a state or national park, in a (well done) zoo, or in a nature sanctuary.
