I started taking a more serious interest in photography in 2024 after one of the photos I’d submitted to the BBC’s weather watchers was selected and shown on television on their late evening weather forecast. It’s a year now since I started uploading photos to Flickr on a regular basis, and I’ve learned so much during this time. I particularly like taking macro photos. Sometimes I prefer to use a smart phone simply because, with Parkinson’s disease, it’s easier for me to manage.
