I am a keen amateur photographer, having taken up the interest when I retired. My main interest is bird photography, but I enjoy all forms of wildlife. In addition, being ex-RAF, I also dabble in aviation photography. I live in Peterborough (UK), and have a number of wildlife reserves reasonably local. Similarly, there are several RAF/USAF airbases and weapons ranges within 2 hours driving.

My first digital camera, bought when I retired, was a Canon EOS 1000d, and I have stayed with Canon. I currently use a Canon R6, an R10, and my latest an R6ii.
