Regarding friend/contact notation: It's pretty disorganised. Don't put any deep significance on it. Beware of contact flickritis. I also tend to favourite a lot of pics of me/friends in case I want to find them later.

Note that if you really only post photos of your kids or your friends, and I don't know any of them, then I will probably feel like I'm intruding... in which case I may not put you on my contacts list, still feel free to add me though.. :)
