I was born in a small village not far from Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Now I live in Friesland, which is one of the northern provinces of our country. As a hydrobiological analyst, I specialize in aquatic plants and freshwater algae.

Nature photography is my passion and my way of relaxing and expressing myself. I focus on butterflies, dragonflies, orchids and landscapes.
