I bought my wife a Nikon D300 for her birthday in September 2008. I learned a lot about cameras while doing research to decide which DSLR to buy. After giving her the camera I started using it all the time (I still let her use it once in a while. lol). Then in the spring of 2009 I discovered the world of HDR photography thanks to Trey Ratcliff at Stuckincustoms.com. My family and I love going on "Camera Adventures" in and around Austin Texas. We take the camera everywhere. I really enjoy photography and I just wish I discovered it earlier. I also enjoy drawing and painting, but I never seem to have the time required. With photography I can create an image and process it fairly quickly (I have 3 kids so time is very valuable to me). I hope to improve my skills and keep learning new techniques. Julia is my daughter. She just turned 10 and really enjoys exploring Flickr and grading pictures. She also likes to generate HDR's from some of my pictures. I created a set for pictures that she has processed.
