Jacqueline Matos is a Graphic Designer, Set Designer, and Photographer born and raised in South Florida. She will be receiving her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Art and Design with a minor in Theatre at Nova Southeastern University this May. Although she has executed a substantial amount of graphic designs, her true passion is set design. Jacqueline presents immersive and inventive designs that capture the world in which each play lives in. She loves to dive head first into shows and bring to life a world that’s merely bounded by a few sheets. She has created a wide variety of designs from a 1930’s mansion to a broken down playground. Her accomplishments include set and prop designing for four NSU shows, while also set designing for three shows for the Broward Center of Performing Arts. However, she has also submitted for the 15th Annual Juried Art Exhibition at NSU for her woven piece, "Yarns of Seine," and received the Faculty Purchase Award. In addition, she has taken up photography to capture moments in people's lives that create memories to last a lifetime for them.
