Photography started of as an extension of an interest in history, art history and urban build-up. So it is essentially documentary. Not much arty, nor to many human interaction. Coincidence placed me for much time in The Hague (Netherlands) and, to a lesser extend, in Istanbul (Turkey). So most of my photo's will be from these places, and around. And, since a lot of time has lapsed, say 40 years, there is a body of photo's that might be termed nostalgic, historic even, dependig on how many years have passed. As a side dish there will also be shots of dogs, which were abundant in Istanbul. and cats, ever more ubiquitous. The photo's are grouped in albums, around common themes.
