I started photography in my teens with a simple camera, over the years took many colour transparencies most of which are now lost through neglect and the effects of a tropical climate. As a teenager I dabbled a bit with processing and printing B&W images using emulsion film. I took little by way of photos for a long period around the advent of modern mobile phones and proliferation if images of everyday everything, dinner and the lot. I felt this devalued the art of photography. I have moved on and now a phone is really all I have as I can no longer keep up financially or with the churning out of ever newer camera technology.

So now I use my phone and am relearning to image what I might not otherwise see. I am looking through older images of mine and finding new things in these too.
