I've always loved watercolors and felt like they best captured my inner experience of a scene. However, my painting skills are lacking, so the camera became my brush over 40 years ago with many of my images having a painterly, watercolor look to them.

Although a hobbyist, I've been fortunate to show and sell my work through the years at galleries, gift shops and arts and craft fairs along the east coast as well as online art sites. I even fulfilled a dream of having my own photo gallery for a short time as the owner of 'Quiet Moments Photo Gallery' in Southern Pines, North Carolina and later for two summers as the owner of 'A Way of Seeing Photo Gallery' In the Rocky Neck Art Colony in coastal Massachusetts.

Most of my images are captured from the two areas where I lived the longest, the New England and North Carolina coast.
