I'm Nic and I'm a full time artisan who makes gemstone jewelry by hand, inspired by living and working as simply and naturally as possible.

No gas nor electrical machinery is used either in the cutting and polishing of the gemstones nor in the silver work, which is formed using ancient-inspired hand tool techniques, no soldering. While it can take a bit longer to make jewellery using these hand lapidary and silver working methods, I like that it gives the jewellery a different look and feel, with lots of nature inspired flowing patterns and a primal raw form.

Many of the stones I work with are quite rare to see set into jewellery, so I've started this account to share them as it could be of interest to rock, gemstone and mineral enthusiasts, and all of the photos are under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs license ( CC BY-ND 3.0 ).
