I am a amateur photographer by heart.

Since childhood I am interested in Photography. We kids had an analog compact to play around. I think I was twelve when I got my first (analog) SLR, with which I learned and experimented a lot.

During my twenties I had a lot of different interests and just took the unavoidable holiday pictures with a variety of cheap digital compact cameras. Some years ago I noticed I still had a lot of interest and ambition in taking fascinating and slightly peculiar pics. So in 2013 I was able to buy my first DSLR - and I joined Flickr to motivate myself to go out and shoot though I got many different tasks in everyday life.

I´m interested in portraits (even though I won´t post any of mine in public), landscape, minimal (my weakest skills?), and lots of other subjects.

As I´m aware of feeding a "public" stream, I see my Flickr account as kind of an exhibition or a photo-blog - and choose my pics with that focus. That´s also the reason I decided to keep a square format for Flickr!

Finally - as a reward for those who take a close look (and for the fun of it) - I endeavor to link a piece of music to each pic I post...
