My bird or wildlife photos are generally not backyard feeder photos. I prefer to go afield to capture subjects in their natural environment. Whenever possible I avoid including any man made objects in the images such as feeders, houses, wires etc. Exceptions are occasionally made if the image has some special quality, the photo is the only one I have of the subject, or the subject is unusual or rare in some way.

The quality of some of the images presented may in some (or even many) cases be less than ideal for the same reasons as above. Hopefully the opportunity to improve on those photos will come over time.
