My journey into sports media began with a long-standing love for photography. Since middle school, I’ve been dedicated to learning the technical and creative aspects of capturing moments—starting with photographing dance competitions, recitals, and studio events in high school. In college, that passion evolved when I began working with athletics, where I discovered the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of sports photography. Capturing those moments in real time solidified my desire to pursue this field professionally.

Currently, I serve as a Social Media Intern for the USHL Muskegon Lumberjacks, Digital Media Coordinator for Aquinas Hockey, Digital Media Producer for Aquinas Men’s Lacrosse, and Assistant Editor-in-Chief of theSaint student newspaper, where I previously worked as Sports Editor. Through these roles, I’ve developed skills in content creation, digital storytelling, photography, and audience engagement.

My academic work further reflects my interests, including my thesis: “Social Media & Relationships: Does Attachment Style Impact Social Media Use?” This research has strengthened my understanding of how audiences interact with digital content—insight I aim to apply in sports media and marketing.

As a former member of the AQ Dance Team and AQ Women’s Soccer Reserves, I also bring the perspective of a student-athlete, which fuels my passion for telling athletes’ stories authentically.

After graduation, I aim to build a career in sports media, using my skills in photography and social media to elevate team branding, connect with fans, and strengthen community engagement. I am committed to continuous learning, creativity, and bringing energy and passion to every project I take.
