I am a Nottingham-based amateur who enjoys exploring the ever-changing urban landscapes around me. I am drawn to the beauty and rawness of textures and contrasts that the urban landscape creates, juxtaposing people against the periods of prosperity and decline and seek out fleeting moments and reflections. I use the camera as a way to break away from the chaos of daily life, leaning into high-contrast monochrome to strip away the distraction of colour and draw the viewer into the finer, more complex details, that often go unnoticed in daily lives.
