Ellen J. Craft is a Seattle-based multimedia artist whose subjects include urban scenes; flora and fauna from our public parks and gardens; and portraiture. She is currently a Master's of Fine Arts - Interdisciplinary Media Arts student. Her media of choice include photography, charcoal and pastels, oil and aqueous media, and printmaking. Ellen holds a B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Art History, as well as a Master of Library Science degree. She has had her work exhibited at the Los Angeles Center of Photography, as well as the New Orleans Art Association, the Pastel Society of the West Coast at the Art Center Morro Bay, Calif., and the Kitchen Print Atelia at the BMI in Epinal, France. In Western Washington, she's had her work exhibited at the Center of Contemporary Art (COCA); Gage Academy of Art; and the Burien Community Center. She has studied at the Seattle Artist League, Gage Academy of Fine Art, the Winslow Art Center, and the Photographic Center Northwest, and recently obtained a certificate in photography from the University of Washington.
