Please excuse my absence but after living near the ocean on the East coast my wife and I have moved to a beautiful home in the desert of Nevada. After dealing with huge water bugs, lizards and mosquitos, we now have to deal with scorpions. Unfortunately, my wife has already been bitten by one and the hospital said there was nothing they could do. They said not to worry and after three painful days, she recovered. We now wear gloves when we garden. So glad to be back on Flickr and missed everyone's great art while I was absent.

As much as I like taking photos and creating AI images, I enjoy adding the most appropriate picture frames to them. Picture frames can enhance photos that might otherwise, inadvertently, go unnoticed. They distinguish a photo from its surroundings and create a visual boundary that helps the viewer focus on the image. They also provide a sense of 3D depth, context, and style to the photo. By choosing a frame that complements the colors, shapes, and mood of the photo, the picture becomes more appealing and expressive.

I sense that some people and one or two groups resent my placing a frame on a picture, but I submit the frame is. part and parcel, an artistic subject within my picture. The frame is intrinsically part of my art and I have spent much time creating each frame, either from scratch or from the repeated assistance from AI software. I certainly enjoy the creative and artistic process of developing the right frame for the right piece and hope that others certainly don't hold it against me or my meager works.
