VA Northport Medical Center is a tertiary care, level 1c, part of VISN 2, Joint Commission-accredited facility serving two of the most veteran-dense counties in New York. The medical center’s main campus is in Northport, N.Y., with five community based outpatient clinics in the towns of Riverhead, Patchogue, Bay Shore, East Meadow, and Valley Stream. The Northport VAMC is a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, as well as engaging in education and research.
