Amateur photographer born in Chile, exploring the places I go through the frame.

 

Years ago, during a debate among photographers about whether the future belonged to digital or film, my mentor, the great Chilean photographer Jaime Pardo, settled the discussion by looking right at me and saying: “It’s the eye that matters, not the camera.”

That lesson stayed with me forever. Vision, light, and intent are everything. Though I must admit, a great camera certainly helps the eye bring that vision to life.
