To me photography is a process, much like the process of living.

Each photograph is accompanied by my memory of capturing it, of seeing the light fall in that way, on that thing, for that tiny moment in time.

It slows me down, speeds me up, It makes me look at things from new perspectives. It makes me pay attention. It gives me reason to go out in the sun, in the rain, in the wind.

In the process of taking a photograph, I often forget about settings. That is not always a bad thing. My goal is to be more considered and intentional, but never at the expense of excitement and wonder.
