My first experience with photography was with a Kodak Brownie Box Camera, oh how times have changed. Now with digital cameras I can shoot as much without the cost of developing.

After 40 years of photography I am shooting with a mirrorless Nikon P1000.

I was never one for shooting flowers or nature, come to that I would very rarely shoot a landscape, just people.

All through my professional career its been people simply because each is unique and have their own story to tell.

These days I am a photographic ambassador for parkrun NZ, and when you look through my portfolio, that has been an obvious passion.

Other time it's usually what I see through the lens which is mainly my grandchildren and family.
