Since early childhood, I have been interested in some form of art. It started with Crayola Crayons and Coloring Books. The pictures and colors fascinated me. When I was coloring, I was in another world. A world that made me so happy.

As I grew, so did my likes in charcoal and acrylic painting on canvas. After mastering them in amateur style, I went on to try watercolor, pastel and oils. I learned them well and enjoyed painting greatly. I am self taught. I never had any formal education in art painting.

I kept painting on canvas until the computers started to incorporate Programs offered digital painting programs. This truly appealed to me. If I could master digital art painting on a computer, I definitely would use a computer for my artworks.

I was successful with learning digital painting on m computer. I purchased a few good digital art programs and started my adventure in pc digital artworks. ArtRage, Corel Painter, SketchBook and Rebelle by Escape Motions were the ones that intrigued me. One at a time, I purchased them all. And thus, my Digital Artwork became an avid hobby.

At first I missed painting on canvas. But I soon realized that with my digital art, I had mastered it well enough to produce fine paintings. There was no clean up of paint brushes, purchasing supplies, i.e. paints, canvases, etc. Also, the expense of purchasing the supplies I needed for my canvas artworks would not longer be there. That was a tremendous plus!

In my adult life I had gotten a position in a very good Company. I became an Administrative Assistant to the Editor in Chief of the Company.

They also had a Children's' Coloring Department, which I became interested in. After speaking to my boss about my interest in the Children's Coloring Book Department and that I would like to try to do one for the Company...I was interviewed and had to show several of my artworks that they requested me to create.

After two weeks, I was accepted in the Children's Coloring Department as an aside artist. I would be creating one coloring book a month. If they were pleased with my books, they would put them in their catalog. Well, they were liked and were put in their catalog. Several of my children's coloring books sold very well.

The best part was that I did not have to give up my Administrative Assistant.
