As a grandson of a Dutch painter (Willem van Dort sr) i feel the need to capture moments. Although i do not have the skills from artistic painting i try to capture moments in sport (among other things) by taking pictures. In earlier times i toke the motorsport pictures with a Practica camera MTL5B and several lenses. With other motorsport hobby's in pursuit i forgot to photograph. Untill i got my hands on a Canon EOS 700D and shortly after that a CanonEF 70/200 F4 lens. Nowadays i have an Eos 80D together with a Sigma 17-50 F 2.8 EX DC OS lens which gets great photo's from up close.Latest camera is an EOS 5Dmk3 wich i connected with the EF 70-200 lens and lately with an EF 50mm 1.8 stm (love this one) and a Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD. On tour with both camera's i get a great perspective from an event. With digital photography a world has opened for me and with talking to other photo enthousiast i learn and try to explore my own style. There is a lot to learn and love trough a lens. Most of my photo's can be seen under the name Lib-enduro media on a FB account. With digital photography you can alter much of your photo's by using software, i like my photo's as they come out of the camera.... unless i screw up with the light of course......
