I was born and brought up in the beautiful Red Rose County of Lancaster. Then after serving my Country for 22 years in the Royal Air Force. I settled with my family in the equally stunning Cannock Chase area of South Staffordshire, where I still reside. My interest in photography started in my late teens and intensified whilst travelling the world with the Services. Having been a railway enthusiast since my childhood, too long ago to remember, my main interest is in the railway scene although I am also a great lover of nature and take photos when the opportunity arises. I remain at heart a 'Lancastrian'
