About me.

I draw human figures, I photograph things and architecture. Illustration is for what you can only imagine, photography is for moments of unexpected, fragile, and casual perfection. Collages speak of my love for paper, words, materiality, and the past.

I do not define myself as creative: creativity is the intuitive and unconscious one of children, art is first of all for ourselves, the answer to an irrepressible need to relate, understand, share, and communicate. I design, study, compare, try, make, and start again, letting chance and error mess up my plans. Every media has its own aesthetics and language, or rather, every message - that comes first - is conveyed through the media that I consider most effective and analogous.

Nagajna is an index, a gallery, a white kaleidoscope that collects all the forms of my personal imaginary having as the only selection criterion, the adherence to my idea of beauty: unstable, asymmetrical, and slightly imperfect. Ambiguous. The indefinite as space for interaction with the imagination of the beholder. An alternation of images, sometimes minimal and abstract, sometimes hyperdetailed, reverberating among themselves and building a compact and complex imaginary.

Works on paper, small by choice, daily soul shelters to be hidden between the pages of a book or placed on a shelf and stratified with other presences, other memories.
