After more than two years and around 500 paintings, watercolors and acrylics, I still haven't found my style. Sometimes I feel like illustrations are my thing, then again abstract paintings with clear lines and shapes. Or I'm drawn to portrait painting, sometimes monochrome, and every now and then I find a landscape so beautiful that I want to paint it. I had actually hoped to gradually discover something like a focus with my own style, but I'm still a long way from that. Maybe I have to accept that it is and will stay just genre jumping?
