I believe in the idea of democratic photography, that everything is worthy of being photographed and admire William Eggleston's work. I also admire the work of Saul Leiter, Fred Herzog and Vivian Maier. I see camera's as tools and not unlike woodworking tools, where power tools and CNC don't replace hand tools but instead augment the craft of woodworking. I believe the same applies to film and digital, digital does not replace film, nor is one better than the other but together give the photographer a wider pallet of tools to work with.
