I photograph people and nature in their quiet, unadorned truth.
In my portrait work, I’m not looking for poses but for encounters. Not for models, but for people who feel free to simply be themselves in front of the camera. A photographer once described it like this: “Your calm, sensitive and yet striking style impresses me again and again. No ‘shootings’, but a shared moment.” That captures my approach well.
In nature, I’m drawn to the unspectacular — moments that, in the right light, open into an inner space. Reduction, stillness, clarity. Photography is, for me, a form of mindfulness: a way of seeing that doesn’t judge, but perceives.
Whether portrait or landscape, my focus is on honest moments and a quiet, clear visual language. Images that don’t explain, but allow something to be felt.
I don’t use titles for my photos. The image itself carries everything it needs. Numbers are simply for orientation in my archive — meaning arises in the act of looking, not in naming.
If this way of seeing resonates with you, I’m always glad to connect.
