2023 Silverwing Asylum Event:

This event idea was started back in 2018 so a few years in the making. It was started to help raise money for Breast Cancer as well as have a group of Halloween enthusiasts get together to bring the best Real Life experience into our Second Life. We have a Group of dedicated people pulling time from their day-to-day lives in efforts to assist with the planning, decoration, and execution of fulfilling the dream to bring one of Second Life’s Mystery Murder Haunted Houses and to keep it one of a kind.

This year our plan here at the Asylum is to have our main Sim transformed into the Center Stage of the Multi Sim event. With the help of numerous designers, and scriptwriters pulling it all together. The idea is this, in the main sim Silverwing Asylum, there will be a few areas of targeted hauntings. The Cemetery, The Grounds Keeper, The Forgotten Forest, The Asylum itself, and last but not least the Doctor's personal Home. These are the Main haunts in the sim with many extra surprises. To continue on we are reaching out to other Sim Owners as well as RP communities to achieve a collaboration of being able to bring the communities together with the ideas of RP Sims to hold contests for best-decorated houses as well as offer a trick-or-treat experience for SL families and kids. Reach out to other haunts to collaborate on events and mergers on the asylum event. The purpose of this is instead of having people try to go find different haunted houses or whatnot we just have the Halloween theme accessible for everyone. The best part of it is that everyone can be original and set their areas up as they see fit with no guidelines or rules and the only link between them is a teleport experience like no other.

This event also is backed by the American Cancer Society Stride Against Breast Cancer, They will have Kiosks at the locations of the events to help raise money for Breast Cancer research. The kiosks guarantee us our Lindens and Money goes straight to the representative for the Cancer Society and a paper trail a mile wide for proof for those who would like to see.

This event's official birth year will be this year. We here at the Asylum plan to grow this event Every Year striding for more sponsors, helpers, and community involvement with little to no Drama.
