Built space holds still. People pass through.
So I remain, chasing the edge of light, where windows hold their silence and walls remember what the day forgets. Lines, barriers, thresholds have taught me patience. A figure enters, a shadow leans, and then the moment passes back into the world.
Photographs are made, not taken.
Hacer. Fare. Fazer. Machen. する.
To make is to return.
To practice seeing.
To name without speaking what was always there.
I have come to this craft late, but perhaps not too late to notice beauty moving quietly through a darkened world. My photos are my attempt at a lighthouse, a modest beam, cast outward in hope that someone in need of joy, or memory, or some small human feeling might find it here.
Still learning.
