I am an artist and humanitarian professional with approximately seven years of experience in education, protection, case management, and MHPSS programs which are intersecting fields. I worked with well-known international organizations and academic institutions as a full-time staff and consultant, including Norwegian Refugee Council, Welthungerhilfe, SGDD-ASAM, Leader Women's Association, Save the Children, GIZ, Islington Bright Start, Coventry University, University College London.

I provided one-to-one counseling and case management sessions, art workshops, and capacity building in Turkey and the UK to asylum seekers, and refugees from Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and Iran.

I exhibited traditional Ebru marbling art and abstract painting in Istanbul, England, Scotland, and Paris as an interdisciplinary visual artist, humanitarian aid worker, and gender-based violence consultant. I am particularly interested in the use of art to promote social cohesion, integration, and the expression of societal diversity. I've used a variety of artistic mediums, ranging from painting to ceramics, from hands-on to digital, and from photography to felt-making.

I took several art therapy classes, meditation, and yoga; and have used art and meditation techniques in various settings since 2010.
